In a few lines, what is the Chianti Classico Ecomarathon?

Events like ours are born with the aim of enhancing and enhancing the landscape, food and wine heritage and traditions of our territories and are characterized within the running panorama by the beauty and naturalness of the routes, paths and dirt roads, for the events organized collateral, dinner and lunch for the athletes, free organized visits to villas, castles and other beauties and tourist resources of the various municipalities. Inspired by these values, our Ecomarathon was born. Last year at the Ecomarataona of the Chianti Classico there were over 5,000 participants, transforming the town of Castelnuovo Berardenga for about 3 days into a sparkling location full of young and old with the common goal of being together, running and eating at the beautiful Pasta Party which saw about 3,600 meals served !!

The event consists of 4 competitive running events:

– Ecomarathon 42 KM

– Chianti Classico Trail 21 KM

– Trail del Luca 13 KM

– Ecomarathon Relay of the Chianti 3×1200 MT accompanied by other non-competitive distances (Ecopasseggiata 10 KM, “Emotions in the Cellars” and Nordic WalkinChianti).

All enriched by many side events for an unforgettable weekend.
